Art Activities for Kids: Archery Painting
Enjoy summer with this fun outdoor art activity for kids with this archery painting.
This post is in partnership with Tesco.
Active art is such a fantastic way to have the kids engage in art projects. To take advantage of this gorgeous warm weather, we tried this fun and different way to paint and print–Merida style.
We recently purchased Merida Archery Bow and Arrow and the children have been having fun enjoying pretend play. To make the already fun toy more fun we painted with the bows and arrows.
Setup:
I set out paper plates with regular paint.Any kids paint will do! The children pressed the arrows (with rubber ends) on the different colored paint.
I taped a large sheet of white paper to the backyard wall and my 5 year old pulled a Merida and painted with the archery set.
My 3 year old enjoyed printing with the arrows.
This art project were a great collaborative activity for the sisters and they had loads of fun giggling while printing with the arrows and even painting with the plates with arrows stuck at the end.

I LOVE this idea! I know a lot of kiddos who would love to paint with arrows!
