We are back with an almost month long break from “all-things-tech”. To kick off 2013, we are teaming up with many of my and your favorite bloggers to bring the very best of kids activities from the year 2012.
Our favorite post from the past year is “Painting with Spaghetti Brooms”
This is an activity based post where the kids and I explored the usual spaghetti and paint technique with just a tiny twist ( no pun) Tying the ends of the half cooked spaghetti and using the uncooked part as a handle and the rest as a sort of home made spaghetti brush was really exciting for them.
This spaghetti brush paint became an instant hit with my kids and their friends who come over. Painting with anything other than a brush seems to bring an instant smile on the kids’s faces.
I have also seen a couple of blogs who were inspired by this and created an beautiful artwork on their own.
Lizon made an impressive art piece ( Needs translation)
Making boys men had fun with her own boys using these brushes
2012 has been a great year for us on all fronts. We created this small space to share all the activities during this wonderful year. I hope the next year will be evern better one for all our families.
Let’s all have a great new year ahead! Peace and love
