Can’t wait any longer! It’s September and we have officially started obsessing over apples. While the actual apple picking season is a still a few week away we have started doing apple crafts and apple art projects. Before we share those, I want to show you all our super exciting science experiment for kids – apple cider experiment.
Science Experiments for Kids : Apple Cider Vinegar experiment
Materials
In 4 clear containers we added a bit of baking soda and a few squirts of our favorite Liquid Watercolors. Since have done our fair share of science experiments for kids, especially ones with eruptions the children were quite familiar with the process. We have combined Kool-Aid and baking soda. We have combined lemon juice and baking soda. We have even added soap to this famous science experiment in our lemon suds eruption.
Today in this science experiment we are combining apple cider vinegar and baking soda.
Well, apple cider vinegar is again vinegar { weak acetic acid}
But the kids thought this apple explosions were pretty fabulous. Adding half a cup of apple cider vinegar to the baking soda gave us some cool apple scented eruptions.
We tried many colors.
But the green and red were audience favorites.
